LOVE/An argumentative exercise

Olive Oyl, 40 years old, feminist, author, her own flat, her own money, and then along comes Sailorboy, Popeye, who loves her and she thinks she is happy with him. Finally a couple, which means not dying alone in hospital. But how can it be that a rage suddenly rises up inside Olive, DESPITE IT ALL. In her play goes Sivan Ben Yishai this NEVERTHELESS getting to the bottom of it: why does a woman stay in a relationship that doesn't make her happy? Why does everything revolve around him while she shrinks away? Caught between self-flagellation, sexual desires, self-hatred and animalistic outbursts, Olivia Öl sets off on a journey, accompanied by a polyphonic text. A pro and con, back and forth, ups and downs, for and against love in the age of patriarchy. And then there is a tiger.
